Classes for Children
TINY TOTS (15 months & up)
*Runs in short term sessions*
Our Tiny Tots program is designed for toddlers and their grown-ups! This joyful and interactive class offers the perfect blend of music, movement, and fun. Each session is filled with engaging activities, including playful themes, music, and creative movement. Toddlers will explore a variety of props and equipment, such as colorful scarves, musical instruments, mats, and the parachute, all aimed at enhancing coordination and sensory experiences. This program will be a great opportunity for you and your toddler to share memorable moments together while making new friends along the way! There is no dress code or recital for this program. ​​​​​​​​​

MINI BALLET & CREATIVE MOVEMENT (AGES 2-3)
Our Mini classes are specially designed for 2-year-olds and young 3s to begin exploring the basics of dance through beginner ballet and creative movement.
This class introduces students to the structure of a dance class while encouraging positivity, playfulness, and a love of music and movement.
Dancers will learn foundational dance steps and begin to develop important classroom skills such as listening, taking turns, and working together as a team.
One guardian per student is welcome to observe from outside the classroom.
Dancers will perform one dance in our annual recital.

PRESCHOOL 1 TAP/BALLET COMBO (AGES 3-4)
Our Preschool 1 classes introduce young dancers to the fundamentals of ballet and tap in a fun, engaging environment. Building on skills from our “Mini” class, this level incorporates more structure and encourages growing independence. Dancers will continue exploring beginner ballet while being introduced to basic tap technique. With a balance of technique and creative movement, this exciting class sets the stage for a strong dance foundation. Preschool 1 dancers perform two routines in our annual recital.
Preschool dancers participate in class independently. Parents are welcome to wait in our comfortable lobby or drop off and return at the end of class.

PRESCHOOL 2 TAP/BALLET COMBO (AGES 4-5)
Our Preschool 2 Combo classes are designed just for Pre-K dancers, offering a beginner-friendly mix of ballet and tap. We recognize that 4 and 5-year-old preschoolers are ready for a little more than a three year old, so this class includes a little more structure while still keeping things fun, engaging, and age-appropriate.
Dancers will perform two routines in our annual recital.
Preschool dancers participate in class independently. Parents are welcome to wait in our comfortable lobby or drop off and return at the end of class.

LEVEL 1 COMBO (KINDERGARTEN-FIRST GRADE)
Our Level 1 Tap/Ballet/Acro combo class is designed especially for kindergarten and first grade dancers, offering a well-rounded introduction to tap, ballet, and acrobatics. Building on the foundation from our Preschool program, this class adds more structure while keeping the learning fun and engaging. Dancers will continue developing beginner ballet and tap skills, explore new center work and across-the-floor combinations, and be introduced to foundational acro skills. It’s the perfect next step for young dancers—and a solid core foundation for continued growth in dance.

MUSICAL THEATER (classes for Kindergarten and up)
Musical Theater classes are offered for students in Kindergarten and up. This jazz-based class incorporates dance movement and acting to tell a theatrical story. Students will learn about performing expressively in both their dancing and acting as they explore different ways to use their energy and facial expressions. Musical Theater is often performed to Broadway or music from movies/tv shows. This class will include jazz technique, acting exercises, and theatrical routines.

HIP HOP (classes for Kindergarten & up)
Hip Hop classes are offered for students beginning in Kindergarten. Hip Hop is danced to Hip Hop style music and encompasses high energy hard hitting movement focusing on rhythm and expression. Classes include a combination of high energy exercises involving isolations, center work, footwork, and across the floor.

BALLET (Grades 1 and up)
Ballet is offered as an individual class option for students beginning in first grade. In class, students will learn this important and traditional style through technique, strength, elegance, and flexibility. Classes include barre, center work, and across the floor exercises. At Revive, we believe in the importance of ballet as a base for our student’s technique and training. Therefore, we highly recommend all Revive Dancers to take ballet with the classes of their choice!

TAP (Grades 1 and up)
Tap classes are offered as an individual class option for students beginning in first grade. Tap dance is an exhilarating and rhythmic form of dance where dancers create intricate sounds and patterns with their feet to accompany the music. This class emphasizes rhythm, coordination, and musicality. Students will learn to use their feet as percussion instruments, creating lively and dynamic rhythms that enhance their movement and the music.

JAZZ (Classes for 1st Grade & up)
Jazz is a fun and expressive dance style set to upbeat music. It combines sharp, energetic movements with smooth, flowing steps to help dancers build rhythm, coordination, and stage presence.
In our jazz classes, students learn foundational skills like kicks, turns, jumps, and body isolations—movements that teach them how to control and express different parts of their body. The class also focuses on improving flexibility, musicality, and performance quality.
Because jazz technique is rooted in ballet, we strongly recommend that students also enroll in a ballet class to support their overall development.

ACRO
Acro is a fusion of dance and acrobatics. At Revive, we follow the Acrobatic Arts Curriculum and believe in the importance of safety in our students. Therefore, we strive to encourage each student to progress at their own pace and offer different levels of classes. Classes will include strength training, flexibility, tumbling, balancing, limbering, and more acrobatic dance instruction. All classes will be taught using mats and with an instructor who is professionally trained to spot the students. We keep our acro classes at a smaller capacity for safety, so dancers are always being spotted, and to allow more one-on-one instruction.

Acro 1 (1st-2nd grade): Thursdays 4:30-5:15
Acro 2 (2nd-5th grade): Mondays 6:15-7:00 FULL
Acro 3 & 4 are invitation only
LYRICAL (Grades 3-6)
Our Lyrical class is offered for students beginning in third grade. Lyrical dance draws from a variety of techniques such as ballet, jazz, and modern to create both a technical and self-expressive style. Our classes will focus on the emotional expression and connection to the music while incorporating a wide variety of movement and technique to educate students in this artistic dance form.
(45 minutes)
Lyrical students are required to also take ballet.
