Classes for Children
TINY TOTS (AGES 1-3)
Our NEW Tiny Tots program will be for toddlers who are 1-3 years old with their grown-up! This program will be a joyful and interactive class that offers a perfect blend of music, movement, and fun! Each class will be filled with engaging activities, including playful themes, music, and creative movement. We’ll explore a variety of props such as colorful scarves, musical instruments, and soft balls to enhance coordination and sensory experiences. This program will be a great opportunity for you and your toddler to share memorable moments together while making new friends along the way! There is no dress code or recital for this program. This program will run in sessions throughout the year.

MINI BALLET & CREATIVE MOVEMENT (AGES 2-3)
Our Mini classes are specifically designed for our littlest dancers to start exploring the basics of dance through beginner ballet and creative movement. This class will introduce students to dance class structure and encourage positivity, playfulness, and love of movement and music. Dancers will not only learn about the basic foundations of dance, but will also be introduced to important classroom behavior such as listening, taking turns, and teamwork! One guardian per student may watch our mini class from outside the classroom. Dancers will perform 1 dance in our recital. ​

PRESCHOOL 1 TAP/BALLET COMBO (AGE 3)
Our preschool 1 combo classes start our 3 year old dancers off with a combination of ballet and tap. This class will build on what students learn in “Mini” while incorporating a little more structure and independence to the classroom. Dancers will continue to explore beginner ballet and will be introduced to tap dancing. Preschool 1 combines an introduction to tap and ballet technique with a creative exploration of movement for an exciting foundational class. Dancers perform 2 dances at recital.
Preschool dancers must be fully potty trained. Dancers that are not fully potty trained are welcome to join our mini class.

PRESCHOOL 2 TAP/BALLET COMBO (AGE 4)
Our preschool 2 combo classes start our 4 year old dancers off with a combination of ballet and tap. This class will bring the skills the dancers learn in Preschool 1 to the next level. Dancers will continue to explore beginner ballet and tap dancing while advancing their skills. Preschool 2 classes will combine tap and ballet technique with play and exploration of movement for an exciting foundational class. Dancers will perform 2 dances at recital.

*NEW* PRESCHOOL ACRO (AGES 3.5-5)
Our Preschool 2 Acro class introduces dancers to the foundational steps of Acro, blending basic acro skills with strength-building exercises tailored to a Pre-K level. The children will be guided through age-appropriate lessons that enhance strength, flexibility, and coordination. Students will learn the basics of acro, such as forward rolls, balance techniques, and introductory tumbling, developing the necessary muscle strength to support themselves in their tricks. This class emphasizes skill-building and personal progress, without the pressure of a recital. This class is a technique class only, and will not perform in our recital. (30 Minutes)​

LEVEL 1 TAP/BALLET COMBO (KINDERGARTEN-FIRST GRADE)
Our Level 1 Tap/Ballet combo class starts our kindergarten and first grade dancers off with a combination of tap and ballet. This class will build on what students learn in Preschool while incorporating more structure to the classroom. Dancers will continue to explore beginner ballet and tap steps, while advancing their skills and starting to learn more across the floor, center work, and new formations. Dancers will perform 2 dances at recital.

ACRO (classes for children in Kindergarten & up)
Acro classes are offered for students beginning in Kindergarten with Acro 1. Acro is a fusion of dance and acrobatics. At Revive, we follow the Acrobatic Arts Curriculum and believe in the importance of safety in our students. Therefore, we strive to encourage each student to progress at their own pace and offer different levels of classes. Classes will include strength training, flexibility, tumbling, balancing, limbering, and more acrobatic dance instruction. All classes will be taught using mats and with an instructor who is professionally trained to spot the students. We keep our acro classes at a smaller capacity for safety, so dancers are always being spotted, and to allow more one-on-one instruction.

Wednesday Acro 2 6:00-6:45 (must have handstand, cartwheel, & bridge)

Monday Acro 4 4:30-5:30 (must have a front or back walkover, chin stand, and headstand)
Acro 4 students must also take ballet, jazz, or musical theater to support their technique for their advanced acro training

JAZZ (Classes for Kindergarten & up)
Jazz classes are offered for students beginning in Kindergarten with Intro to Jazz. Our jazz classes draw upon the technique dancers learn in ballet and encourage expressiveness of movement. Classes include isolations, center work, across the floor exercises, and trains dancers in musicality, flexibility, and expression. Jazz students are highly encouraged to also take ballet.

Hip Hop classes are offered for students beginning in Kindergarten. Hip Hop is danced to Hip Hop style music and encompasses high energy hard hitting movement focusing on rhythm and expression. Classes include a combination of high energy exercises involving isolations, center work, footwork, and across the floor.

MUSICAL THEATER (classes for First Grade and up)
Musical Theater classes are offered for students in First Grade and up. This jazz-based class incorporates dance movement and acting to tell a theatrical story. Students will learn about performing expressively in both their dancing and acting as they explore different ways to use their energy and facial expressions. Musical Theater is often performed to Broadway or music from movies/tv shows. This class will include jazz technique, acting exercises, and theatrical routines.

BALLET (Grades 2 and up)
Ballet is offered as an individual class option for students beginning in second grade. In class, students will learn this important and traditional style through technique, strength, elegance, and flexibility. Classes include barre, center work, and across the floor exercises. At Revive, we believe in the importance of ballet as a base for our student’s technique and training. Therefore, we highly recommend all Revive Dancers to take ballet with the classes of their choice!

TAP (Grades 2 and up)
Tap classes are offered as an individual class option for students beginning in second grade. Tap dance is an exhilarating and rhythmic form of dance where dancers create intricate sounds and patterns with their feet to accompany the music. This class emphasizes rhythm, coordination, and musicality. Students will learn to use their feet as percussion instruments, creating lively and dynamic rhythms that enhance their movement and the music.

LYRICAL (Grades 2-5)
Our Lyrical class is offered for students beginning in second grade. Lyrical dance draws from a variety of techniques such as ballet, jazz, and modern to create both a technical and self-expressive style. Our classes will focus on the emotional expression and connection to the music while incorporating a wide variety of movement and technique to educate students in this artistic dance form.
(45 minutes)
Lyrical students are required to also take ballet.
